1st Annual 411wrestling.com Awards

Most Annoying Wrestler(s)
In wrestling, there are personalities that elicit such hatred from some fans that they don’t get booed, but they force fans to turn the channel. Which one was the most obnoxious?

Winner: Too Cool (WWF)
Their dorky white boy gimmick got over very quickly, but just as quickly it has become one of the most hated in the promotion. Near the end of 2000, Too Cool lost Rikishi, and lost what was left of their push.
Runner Up: Buff Bagwell (WCW)

Most Embarrassing Moment of the Year
Each federation had some moments in 2000 that put a black mark on their promotion for the year. Which one of these doozies was the worst?

Winner: WWF brings HHH back 2 weeks after murdering him
Steve Austin exacted revenge on HHH at Survivor Series not by beating him in the ring, but by destroying a car with his opponent inside. Instead of pushing HHH as deathly injured, the WWF brought him back very quickly, and with minimal after effects. Suspended belief is one thing, but that was ridiculous.
Runner Up: WCW Doesn’t Know About Tuesday Nitro

Most Disappointing Wrestler of the Year
These wrestlers all had big hype surrounding their debuts, or were big stars that saw their stock fall huge in 2000.

Winner: Raven
Like Tazz, Raven was brought into the WWF from ECW with big expectations front internet fans. However, unlike Tazz, Raven had a moderately successful run in ECW, including a US title and good merch sales. So far his WWF stint has been less than memorable.
Runner Up: Tazz

Most Insane Wrestler of the Year
These guys all went off their rocker in 2000, taking a turn from semi-normal wrestler to mentally disturbed. The question is: which one of these nutbars most deserves some time in the asylum?

Winner: Vampiro
This was a very hard fought category, with all of the nominees being quite insane, Vampiro was perhaps the most crazy of them all. After a concussion in a match against Mike Awesome, Vampiro went on a strange rampage against WCW and wrestling, only to recant the statements days later.
Runner Up: Bret Hart
