411’s TNA Impact Rankings 12.01.13

December 1, 2013 | Posted by Dan Wojcik

Welcome to the 411 TNA Impact Rankings! I am still Dan Wojcik and I am coming to you from a semi-undisclosed location somewhere inside the heart of the Midwest. There are many different ranking systems out there. The WWE Power rankings. The Wrestler of the Week rankings. And whatever other ranking systems you may want to find. This is the TNA Impact Ranking though, were I get to rank the current movers and shakers in TNA. I want to have some fun with this. Lets get to work…

My Criteria Base:

  • Wins and Losses
  • Momentum
  • Overall Strength of Booking
  • Only TV and PPV Count Towards This
  • If You Hold a Title, Your Chances of Appearing Are Good, but not Guaranteed!

RANKINGS1. Bobby Roode: This week it paid to be Roode! Team Roode managed to get the win over Team Angle this past week. Gunner and Storm got pinned, Magnus got injured and Angle got DQ’d. All the while team Roode remained intact. With this continued momentum, Roode managed to topple Gail Kim for the number One spot this week!

RANKINGS2. Gail Kim: After a number of weeks of taking on all challengers, Gail Kim took a week off and walked out to the ring to cheer on Lei’d Tapa as she took on Velvet Sky. Kim then attended the Feast at the end of the show and got a pie in the face courtesy of Velvet Sky. As a result of this, she dropped down from number One to Two!
RANKINGSRANKINGS3. Bad Influence: Kaz and Daniels participated in the Main Event of Impact this past week as part of Team Roode. They were integral in the success of the team as they managed to show us why they are the most dominant tag team in TNA.
RANKINGS4. Ethan Carter III: EC3 went to great expense to bring in his opponent for this week, Curryman! EC3 managed to continue his winning ways and sent Curryman packing.

RANKINGSRANKINGS5. Bromans: For the first time several weeks, the Bromans made an appearance on Impact Wrestling. In their endeavor, they faced Norv Fernum and Dewey Barnes in a Turkey Bowl Match! Needless to say, after about quick squash match, the Bromans forced Fernum and Barnes to dawn the dreaded turkey costumes and dance the turkey dance.
RANKINGS6. AJ Styles: Thanks to the Friends of AJ, we get a recount of AJ’s work from AAA and Wrestle-1. Even though Dixie Carter told him to go ahead and keep the belt, she is now telling him that he has one week to return the TNA World Championship belt.
RANKINGS7. Chris Sabin: During the main event on Impact Sabin managed to pin James Storm for his team.
RANKINGS8. Rockstar Spud: He was named the Chief of Staff by Dixie Carter this week. He got a lot of TV time. He put together the Feast at the end of Impact.

RANKINGS9. Eric Young: Eric Young proclaimed himself as the High Chancellor of the Turkey Bowl and set up a Turkey Bowl Match between the Bromans and Barnes and Fernum. Young made sure that Barnes and Fernum put on the turkey suits at the end of the match. He then got to finish out the show by leading the faces down to the ring and causing a food fight to close out the show.

RANKINGS10. Lei’D Tapa: After walking out to the ring for the last several weeks with Gail Kim, Lei’D Tapa managed to have a match against Velvet Sky. Tapa managed to get the duke over the former Knockouts champion with a fireman’s stunner.

  • Those on the outside looking in include: James Storm, Gunner, Samoa Joe, Bully Ray, Mr. Anderson, Magnus and Kurt Angle.
  • And that is the list for this week!
