June 11th: ROH officials have made a change to the June 27th Chicago Ridge lineup. D’Lo Brown has been chomping at the bit since “Take No Prisoners”, and now it seems he’ll get his wish. “Erick Stevens is tough, but I wanted Danielson, and he knows it.” ROH officials received phone calls from both Bryan Danielson and Erick Stevens earlier in the week, and now the match is set. Stevens has agreed to step aside on 6/27 and let Bryan Danielson face D’Lo Brown in Chicago! As you’ll see when “Take No Prisoners” begins airing this Friday, the intensity between Brown and Dragon was off the charts, and the Windy City will get a taste of it first hand!

– Erick Stevens’ night won’t be much easier on the 27th as he’s traded in a match against one powerhouse Brown for another. It’ll be Stevens versus ROH newcomer “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown! Brown impressed the ROH faithful weeks back when he made his Chicago ROH debut, and this time, the going will be a bit rougher. Can the 6’5″, 275 pound newcomer derail the powerful Choo-choo? We’ll see on 6/27!

– Roderick Strong’s recent streak has been more than impressive, and on June 20th in Philly he’ll have the chance to avenge one of his few losses as of late. Several weeks back on HDNet, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair told Austin Aries that he’d have to back up his mouth with action, and Aries lived up to the challenge by going out and defeating Roddy in a great TV main event. Now they’ll do it again when ROH and HDNet return to the Arena on the 20th, and this time, it’ll be Strong looking to prove something.

– Jerry Lynn and Tyler Black will tangle this Friday in Manassas in a non-title match. Just signed as part of the ROH on HDNet National Television tapings is a rematch. “Tyler deserves a title match,” said Lynn. “But the timing just wasn’t right for me to agree to that in Manassas with all of the prep I’ve been doing for New York. As Tyler said the Videowire, we both have bigger fish to fry on that day.” Should Lynn retain the ROH World Title at the Hammerstein, he will put it on the line against Tyler in Philly, and it will be on National TV!

– A few weeks back, Bryan Danielson told everyone in attendance in Boston that all of the “please come back” chants directed at Sonjay Dutt were well deserved, as the two had just battled in a great Three Way Dance. Dutt earned Danielson’s respect on that night, and just signed for June 20th is the rematch. It’ll be Dutt and Danielson, one-on-one on HDNet! Can Dutt wow the Philadelphia and HDNet audiences like he did in Boston? Will Danielson still be impressed after the 20th? Come and find out!

– The Ring of Honor Wrestling Academy will be starting new classes during the week of June 22nd. The school is for people with previous wrestling experience or no wrestling experience at all. For more information please visit http://www.rohwrestling.com/wrestlingschool/.
