CM Punk Says He Has Great Relationship With Triple H
Two interesting notes from CM Punk’s interview with Peter Rosenberg of “Hot 97” in New York City yesterday:
* He said he has a great relationship with Triple H and that he often discusses backstage stuff and management decisions. One example he gave was that he asked Triple H why Brodus Clay was put on TV, pushed, and then taken off TV. Punk said that Triple H’s explanation made sense and he understood where management was coming from. He didn’t specify what Triple H said about Clay though.
* He said WWE is not overly concerned with TV ratings, as they only care about them to the extent that sponsors stay happy. Beyond that, WWE isn’t concerned with the fall in ratings over the past year+.
