WWE Promises “Groundbreaking” Announcement In Las Vegas
Technology Tell reports that WWE has sent out an invitation for its event at the International CES in Las Vegas in January. WWE has revealed that they will make a major, “groundbreaking” announcement from WWE CEO Vince McMahon. It’s scheduled for the Encore Theater on January 8. As previously reported, stars from the past and present (John Cena, Steve Austin, Triple H, Shawn Michaels) will be present and it’s expected to be the official launch of the WWE Network.
The network would feature content from the WWE’s incredibly large video library of footage from all over the world, along with original programming. The network may be available through something other than cable or satellite, possibly online only. This would make sense for CES more than a straight TV network would.
