We’re back as Sheamus escapes a headlock but gets hit with a huge powerslam before he can pick up momentum. Antonio covers him for two. Cesaro delivers a stiff clothesline and covers for another two count. Antonio locks in a sleeper hold and Sheamus is quick to fight out. He hits a headbutt and a few punches. Cesaro charges at Sheamus and catches him with a back breaker. Sheamus hits a knee lift and goes for White Noise but Cesaro wiggled free. Cesaro finds himself on the apron and falls victim to the clubbering this time. Sheamus sends Cesaro shoulder first into the ring post and runs off the apron with a shoulder block take down. That’s a nice bit of storytelling. Cesaro escapes White Noise again and goes for the cross face chicken wing! Sheamus didn’t let Cesaro lock it in and hits Cesaro with White Noise! Sheamus goes upstairs but gets hit with a huge upper cut! ONE… TWO… NOOOO. That was great. Cesaro goes upstairs and drops a HUGE flying knee on Sheamus! Sheamus kicks out again! Cesaro gets the crossface chicken wing again and Sheamus is struggling to escape. The big man manages to drape his foot on the bottom rope for a break. Cesaro gets right on top of Sheamus and delivers a flurry of forearms. He goes for the Neutralizer but Sheamus powers out and backs him into the corner. Cesaro turns around and eats a Brogue Kick. This was a great back and forth match and they did a great job telling their story. Check this match out.
OFFICIAL RESULT: Sheamus @ 12:15 aired via pinfall
RATING: ***1/2
RAW REBOUND: We get a recap of the opening segment from Raw. I actually really liked this segment. I enjoyed how Stephanie and Vince heeled it up while being completely justified. They shoot to the McMahon family argument in which Triple H begged Vince and Stephanie to let him wrestle before getting denied. Again, I like how this is playing out so far.
– Randy Orton and Team Hell No will be on Miz TV this Friday.
We’re back with Jimmy Uso and Sandow in the ring. Sandow fights out of a headlock and tags in Cody. Jimmy goes for a splash in the corner but Cody dodges it before hitting a neckbreaker. He tags in Sandow. Sandow aggressively mauls Jimmy before delivering the Elbow of Disdain. TWOOO. He locks in another side headlock and Jimmy powers out. He can’t make the tag before Cody tags in and catches him. Cody hits a nice inverted face buster and tags Sandow back in. The announce team is all over the place here. Sandow and Jimmy hit the double clothesline spot. Hot tags ensue. Jimmy cleans house with some kicks and goes for a Samoan Drop. Cody slips out but eats a Samoan butt in the corner. Cody Rhodes hits the disaster kick on Jimmy and Jey breaks it up! Jey blind tags in. Jey hits the assisted splash off of Jimmy’s shoulders for the victory. This was a fun match that got more time than I was expecting.
OFFICIAL RESULT: The Usos @ 9:52 aired via pin
RATING: **1/2
– We get a video recap of the Cena/Ryback feud.
OFFICIAL RESULT: Justin Gabriel @ 3:36 via pin
RATING: *1/2
OVERALL: Main Event was a good show tonight. Cesaro/Sheamus was great, the tag match actually got two segments, and Gabriel/Hawkins was a fun little match.
