411’s IMPACT WRESTLING REPORT 11.14.13

  • We see Angle and Aries arriving earlier today.
  • Highlights from last week’s show.
  • Aces and 8s (Bully Ray, Brooke, Garett and Knux) all make their way out to the ring. Bully has Brooke dance and shake her ass as Tazz puts over her shining personality. Bully then harasses Tenay for falling for their trick last week and shares a hug with Tazz, because brothers gotta hug. Bully on the mic, and declares that he is the puppet master. He calls the fans suckers that will fall for whatever he wants them to fall for. He calls Brooke’s ass quality, and adds that he doesn’t need to be champion to be the guy that is talked about the most. As far as Anderson goes, he failed to drive a wedge in between he and the club. He accepts Anderson’s challenge for next week, no DQ match. But, he will not simply piledrive him on the stage, he will piledrive him THROUGH the stage.

This brings out Anderson, who says he is sick and tired of the Aces and 8s just like the fans are. So when he beats Bully next week, Aces and 8s is done in TNA. Disbanded, done and never to ride again. Bully says he would not agree to that, so Anderson sweetens the deal. Anderson says he wife is home pregnant with twins, so if he cannot beat Bully, he will take his ball and go home and will be done in TNA. Bully calls him in the ring, and says he would love to piledrive his pregnant wife. As far as the stipulation, Bully says Anderson must be crazy. Anderson says he is crazy and attacks. Knux and Garett jump him and Bully gets a chair. Anderson fights back, cleans house and gets the chair but Bully escapes. Anderson says he has his ass next week, but he feels frisky, so who will it be tonight.

Elbow drop on the floor by Knux, and he slides back in to break the count. Knux suplexes Anderson back into the ring and then covers for 2. Anderson tries to fight back with rights, Tries the Finlay roll, countered and a corner splash by Knux and then a side slam connect and Knux covers for 2. Short armed clothesline by Knux, and he talks trash to Anderson. Knux picks up Anderson, another clothesline and Knux celebrates. Knux goes for another, countered into the mic check and that is enough for Anderson to get the win.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Mr. Anderson @ 5:00 via pin

  • Anderson announces himself as the winner. Anderson.

  • We get a video of Joe Park discussing last week’s encounter with Bad Influence. He wants to face Daniels tonight.
  • We get a video from Bad Influence, Daniels says Park looked thirsty, and just offered him a drink. Daniels accepts the challenge.

  • We get a video package hyping Angle vs. Aries later tonight. Really good video package.

    Christopher Daniels vs. Joseph Park

Daniels uses his sped early to avoid Park and land rights, but Park fights back with a hip toss and takes Daniels down. Daniels offers a handshake, and Park then shoulder blocks Daniels down to the mat. To the corner, a whip and Daniels hits hard and falls to the mat. Daniels with a shot to the throat, but Park back with the double leg and looks for a Boston crab, but Daniels escapes to the floor. Park chases, which allows Daniels to get control. He lays he boots to Daniels, rights and elbows follows. A clothesline follows for Daniels, and a cover gets 2. Off the ropes, sunset flip try by Daniels, Park tries the sit-down splash by Daniels moves. Boot by Daniels, and now works a chinlock. Rights by Daniels, but Park back with a Samoan drop and both men are down. Daniels misses a charge, a body slam follows. A Side slam connects and Park covers for 2. Daniels battles back, looks for a suplex, countered by Park and now Park to the ropes. Daniels rolls away and Park then gets a corner splash. Punches by Park follows, but Daniels is able to score with a low blow kick and covers for the win.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Christopher Daniels @ 6:00 via pin

  • Garett and Bully tell Knux it is ok that he lost because they have Anderson right where they want him. Bully says they will get rid of him, and that they should go to the strip club. Knux says that always makes him feel better.

Handicap Match: Ethan Carter III vs. Dewey Barnes and Norv Fernum

Including house shows, Tenay says Carter is 7-0, but mocks his strength of schedule. Fernum in to start and lands a right. Works the arm, and tags in Barnes. The jobbers control early, working the arm and using quick tags. Barnes with a corner forearm, but then charges into a clothesline by Carter. Rights by Carter, and then a snap suplex connects. Carter hits a belly to back suplex, celebrates a bit, which allows Barnes to fight back. Tag to Fernum, he gets a high cross and then a missile dropkick. A tornado DDT also connects and Fernum covers for 2. Boot to the face by Carter, Barnes tags in, Carter hits the 1 Percenter on Fernum. He then hits it on Barnes and covers both for the win.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Ethan Carter III @ 3:00 via pin

  • He is ECIII, he is a Carter, and the world needs him.

  • We get a video package from the friends of AJ, showing more footage of his match in AAA with Mesias.
  • Dixie is pissed that the video aired and yells at the production people.
  • Footage of Hardy vs. Sabin from last week, and Hardy discussing how brutal the match was. Another good video putting over the tournament.
  • We get a video hyping Aries winning the TNA Title from Roode.

  • Dixie Carter makes her way out to the ring. She say sit is hard to be here, to have perfect instincts, and she always has to prove herself. And it feels good to say how good she is, like when she kicked that redneck off the roster. The class of the show went up, but more importantly, it has proven that no one, except for her, is replaceable. This is a business, and people do not understand. This is about what have you done for me lately. AJ hasn’t done anything but stolen her title and stolen convertible and went to Mexico. He is not her world champion, period. Her lawyers will handle him. But now, she discusses her innovative title tournament. Last week, Jeff Hardy “beat someone” in a full metal mayhem match. Tonight it is Angle vs. Aries in a submission match. Next week Turning Point takes place, and we will have two matches next week. She brings out Roode, Storm, Joe and Magnus. Storm vs. Roode and Joe vs. Magnus are the matches next week. Carter spun the wheel of Dixie, and the stipulations are a Bullrope Match for Storm vs. Roode. Carter puts over Roode for beating Angle twice, and Storm needs to prove himself. Storm says Carter can’t ride his rodeo, and then says it is time for a redneck to take over the show and to win the title. He then tells Roode, “Sorry About Your Damn Luck”. Then it is a Falls Count Anywhere Match for Joe vs. Magnus. Joe tells Carter that the only reason for this tournament is because Carter is covering for not making a deal with AJ, to cover up her bad business. Joe says he has her covered, because when he wins the tournament, he will defend the title against AJ first. Carter says, “no way, no way” and says Joe is lucky to be in the tournament. Magnus then grabs the mic and says that the Mafia is on ice because of competition. And if Magnus wants to be top dog, he knows he has to beat the best, and he knows that is Joe. It won’t be easy, but it will happen. Carter then says that the tournament is to find her champion, to look after her causes, and he will be the one true champion for this business. Good luck next week.
  • Mr. Anderson jumps Garett Bischoff backstage and then handcuffs him to a railing. Anderson drinks a beer and sits there, watching Garett…

  • Time for Gail Kim’s open challenge. Kim and Lei’D Tapa make their way out to the ring. Kim discusses the open challenge for anyone outside of TNA to challenge her. She says a lot f names were mentioned, but someone actually has to show up. And someone did. Come on out. Hannah Blossom from OVW and the British Bootcamp show is the challenger.

Non-Title Open Challenge: Gail Kim © w/Lei’D Tapa vs. Hannah Blossom

Kim kicks her in the fact and then slams her to the corner to get things started. Forearm strikes by Kim, a whip to the corner and then slams Blossom down by her hair. Blossom fires back with rights, which only angers Kim. Kim beats her down and talks trash to her. Kim locks in the figure four on the ring post. Kim then talks shit and even offers a clean shot for Blossom. Blossom fails and Kim remains in control. Blossom then fires back with rights and clotheslines. A Suplex follows, and then a splash and cover for 2. Kim fires back with a clothesline, and then eat defeat finishes it off.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Gail Kim @ 4:00 via pin

  • Kim mocks Blossom’s efforts, and promises week by week to prove she is the most dominant champion in TNA history.

  • Joseph Park is back. When he came to TNA, he was looking for his brother Abyss. But when he saw the support of the fans, he couldn’t walk away. But lately Kaz and Daniels have been bothering him, saying he can’t be the wrestler Abyss was. He says Abyss was a legend and future TNA Hall of Famer. But what bothers him is all of the accusations about where Abyss is. He says Abyss is crazy and he can’t know where he is at all times. But he has a solution, he issues an open challenge for next week, Joe Park vs. Abyss. Yup.

  • In the back, Anderson uncuffs Garett and takes him away. Somewhere. We don’t know.

TNA Title Tournament Submission Match: Austin Aries vs. Kurt Angle

They work some mat wrestling early, then some standing switches, which go to stalemates. Off the ropes, shoulder block by Angle. Arm drags by Aries follow, and he grounds Angle and looks to work the arm. Angle tries to head scissors Angle, but you can’t head scissors Austin Aries, so he escapes. Ankle lock attempt, Angle escapes, Angle tries a German, Aries lands on his feet and counters to the last chancery, but Angle escapes. Angle take a power, back in and Aries takes control with rights and clubbing shots to the back. Aries grounds Angle, who then gets the ropes, but Aries connects with rights. Angle catches Aries with a tilt a whirl back breaker, and then we see Bobby Roode appear on the ramp with a chair. He plans to take a seat and watch, which angers Angle. Aries leaps off the top to attack Angle, but Angle catches him and hits an overhead belly to belly on the floor. Angle focuses on Roode for a moment, rolls Aries back in, but his distraction allows Aries to dropkick him to the floor. We head to a commercial…

Back from commercial as Aries is working the neck of Angle. Angle looks for a belly-to-belly, Aries counters, but Angle back with clotheslines. Angle then gets the overhead belly to belly, and then it is German time. One, Two, Tree Germans Suplexes, AH HA HAAAAAA! Angle stalks Aries, Angle slam countered and Aries gets the spinning elbow, and sends Angle to the floor. Double ax handle smash off the ropes by Aries, rolls Angle back in, Aries up top and tries a missile dropkick, Angle catches him and applies the ankle lock. Aries escapes, looks for the shotgun dropkick but Angle again has the ankle lock as a counter. Aries escapes and sends Angle to the floor. Aries connects with the heat-seeking missile, and rolls Angle back in. Aries connects with the missile dropkick this time. Shotgun dropkick connects, and then the BRIAN BUSTAAAAAAA by Aries. Aries locks in the last chancery, Kurt Angle fights, Aries looks for another brain buster, countered, and they trade rights. More Germans by Angle, Aries gets the ropes, Kurt Angle then sets him up top and follows. Aries fights him off, sends Kurt Angle to the mat, Aries up and Kurt Angle runs back up and gets shrugged off. Aries MISSES the 450, sells the ankle. Some counters, Aries charges and hits the post as Angle sidesteps him. Kurt Angle points to Roode, and then applied the crossface on Aries, and he taps.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Kurt Angle @ 19:00 via submission

  • Tenay hypes next week’s show.
  • Mr. Anderson makes his way to the ring with Garett Bischoff. Anderson picks up Garett, and piledrives him on the ramp to send a message to Bully Ray. Anderson steals his kutte as the show ends.

  • End scene.
  • Thanks for reading.
