Welcome to the ECW on Sci-Fi! As always, I am Michael Bauer, your 411 ECW Re-capper. Let’s get right to the action!

We open with a video package of the battle of the billionaires and the announcements of Umaga and Bobby Lashley as the two representatives. This includes the crazy brawl from Raw last night.

Joey Styles and Tazz at ringside and above the ring is a steel cage as it will be Lashley vs. Hardcore Holly tonight in that cage for the ECW Title.

Extreme Rules – Mr. Kennedy vs. Sabu

This is a Money in the Bank qualifier match and Kennedy does not get the chance to do his special entrance. They do like they did last night, having both men come to the ring first and then do the introductions. The bell rings and this match is announced as an extreme rules match! Mr. Kennedy gets the early upper hand and bodyslams Sabu. Sabu gets irish whipped and ducks under an elbow. Sabu with a springboard, but Kennedy catches him into a German suplex for a two count. Sabu gains the advantage and puts Kennedy on the table. Sabu sets up the chair and runs off the ropes. Kennedy gets up, but Sabu goes off the chair, the top rope, and double axe handles Kennedy. Kennedy is rolled in for a two count. Sabu runs for a triple sault, but Kennedy trips him face first into the chair for a two count. Kennedy kicks Sabu’s head in while he is down in the corner. We head outside where Mr. McMahon arrives at the arena via limo and complains about getting there too slowly.

Back from the break and Joey Styles tells us we will have RVD and Dreamer take on Kevin Thorn and Marcus Cor Von later tonight.

Balls Mahoney vs. Matt Striker

Tazz mentions that Vince is in a bad mood and with Striker coming out, neither are the fans, according to Joey Styles. Striker quickly goes to clubbing Balls Mahoney in the back of the head. Balls gets the advantage and goes for the jabs, before hitting a clothesline. Balls heads up top and connects with a legdrop from the top. And out of nowhere comes Snitsky as the ref calls for the bell at 47 seconds. The ref calls Balls the winner. Snitsky lays waste to Balls Mahoney and then nearly knocks Striker’s head off for kicks.

Winner: Balls Mahoney

Backstage, Vince McMahon addresses the crowd. He admits that Trump surprised him with his decision. But Vince has a surprise for Trump and Lashley. Vince McMahon mixes things up and says that is Lashley can not win within five minutes tonight; Hardcore Holly will become the ECW Champion!! Surprise, Surprise!!

Marcus Cor Von and Kevin Thorn vs. Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer

We come back from the break and Marcus Cor Von, Elijah Burke and Kevin Thorn are in the ring. RVD and Dreamer come out together, with the Sandman as back up. The bell rings and Kevin Thorn starts out with shots to the face. Thorn gets caught with a boot to the face and RVD gets a quick two count. Tag to Dreamer and some double teaming, with Thorn being dropped with a toe hold and a shot to the back of the head by Dreamer for a two count. Thorn drops Dreamer on his injured jaw and tags in Cor Von. Cor Von with shoulder drives into Dreamer. Dreamer taken over with a snap mare and a chin lock is slapped on by Cor Von. Dreamer fights out, but Cor Von with clubs to the back. Dreamer reverses and hits a version of a jaw breaker. Both sides make tags and RVD goes nuts with clotheslines and he take Cor Von off the apron before kicking Thorn in the face. Split legged moonsault gets a two count on Thorn. Another spin kick to the face and RVD connects with rolling thunder. Cor Von breaks it up at two and Dreamer knocks him to the outside before going out himself over the top rope. RVD hits a windmill kick and goes up top. Ariel runs over with the walking stick, but Sandman comes over and canes Ariel’s ass. The ref grabs the walking stick and Burke trips up Van Dam, landing the wrong way on the top rope. Kevin Thorn grabs RVD and plant the Dark Kiss for the three count at 4:17.

Winners: Marcus Cor Von and Kevin Thorn

Backstage, Hardcore Holly says that tonight is his night because nobody can beat him in five minutes, not even Lashley and not even if it is for his title. We go to the break with Holly declaring that he will be the new ECW Champion.

The sign guy is on Deal or No Deal this Sunday, pretty sweet.

CM Punk vs. Stevie Richards

We get some clips of Punk winning his shot in the Money in the Bank match from last week. OH MY GOD! It’s a Stevie sighting! Richards quickly goes on the attack. CM Punk blocks a hip toss and a series of arm drags happen. CM Punk gets in some kicks to the thigh, but Richards back Punk into the corner. Snap mare by Richards and a kick to the back. Richards drops an elbow on Punk and Richards locks in headlock. He lets go and drives a knee into his face. Punk now having his neck twisted, but Punk counters into a roll up for two. Richards with a stiff kick to the face and he locks in another headlock. Punk fights out with punches to the gut, but Stevie gets a shot to the gut as well. Punk with an irish whip into the corner and the running high knee connects. Stevie escapes the bulldog attempt, but runs into a fireman’s carry by CM Punk. Punk lifts him up and connects with a huge knee to the face of Richards. Punk goes for the cover and gets the three at 3:15.

Winner: CM Punk

We get more clips from yesterday’s Raw and the announcement of Lashley as Trump’s representative. And because of the edict of McMahon, the main event is next and Lashley must beat Holly in five minutes or Holly gets the title. That is what he gets for crossing the boss.

We are back from the break and it is time for Extreme Expose. How about it? The outfits sort of match this time. The timing still needs work, but it continues to pretty much be the exact same damn thing. They end with a fake triple kiss and some fireworks. It was short and sweet this time.

We get the video package from last night announcing Jerry Lawler as the next Hall of Famer for 2007.

And now the cage lowers…

ECW Title Steel Cage Match: Bobby Lashley vs. Hardcore Holly

The announcement is made that the match can be won by pinfall, submission, or escaping the cage. Plus the additional announcement of the five minute time limit for Bobby Lashley. So Holly doesn’t have to win the match, just not lose in five minutes. We head to a commercial break before Lashley’s entrance.

Back from the break and here comes Bobby Lashley. Lashley goes right in the cage and the bells rings and Holly meets him with boots toe the gut. Shoulder block by Lashley and he is going for quick covers. Lashley throws Holly into the steel cage face first. Lashley goes for another cover, but gets a two count. We are down to four minutes and Lashley throws Holly into the corner and hits a huge clothesline. He tries again but Holly gets the boots up. Holly looks to climb the cage, but Lashley grabs his ankle and goes up to the top rope. But now out comes Vince McMahon and Umaga! Holly superplexes Lashley off the top rope. Umaga starts dismantling the ringside area and he throws a chair into the ring. Holly grabs the chair and kills Lashley with it for a two count as we get down to two minutes. Lashley connects with a belly to belly suplex and grans the chair. Lashley nails Holly right in the head and then smacks him with the chair several times to the back. Lashley stares down Umaga as we are down to one minute. Holly gets decked again with the chair. Lashley lifts up Holly and drives him down with an Oklahoma Slam for the anti-climatic ending at 4:14, leaving 46 seconds left in the clock.

Winner and ECW Champion: Bobby Lashley

Lashley then runs off the ropes and jumps straight into the cage, snapping it off the hinges and crashing into Umaga. OH MY GOD! Umaga is down under the caging as we fade out.
