After the match both Strong and Richards pose with the FIP title belt. This causes friction between the two, who now both have some claim to contendership.

The 411BG Says

FIP is starting to get its form back, and it comes as no surprise with Shingo putting out solid matches, the Briscoes on board, Matt Sydal picking up his game and talented guys with Strong and Richards in the title hunt. The #1 Contender match was a lot of fun and worth going out of your way to catch for sure. You can pick this up at FullImpactPro.com and ROHWrestling.com.
