TNA Turning Point 2008

THE CARD:

TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Champion “The Icon” Sting vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles

Michael Weyer: I give them credit for the build-up and the question is if they’re willing to let AJ get the belt. I admit being partial to that as I’m a mark for the guy but it makes sense for AJ to get it as Sting’s title reigns tend to be rather short anyhow and it would enhance the MEM-TNA Loyalists feud. So I think AJ will get it, which he’s long deserved and gives a boost to the company.

WINNER and NEW TNA World Champion: The Phenomenal One

Dan Torkel: I love that AJ has been built up so strong as half of the leadership of the Young Generation, but Sting does not drop the belt right away. I expect shenanigans, a bat shot, and the Icon and Main Event Mafia celebrating here. This has long term angle written all over it, and in long angles the heels win first to build to a major face win later.

Winner: And Still TNA World Champion: STING after bat shot, pipe shot, belt shot, and Scorpion Death Drop

Andy Clark: This has potential to be really good. I believe this is the first time these two have hooked up since the Nashville days. While I definitely think that AJ should end up as champion after all this, now is not the time to pull the trigger. Perhaps a Christian Cage run in will make the difference.

Winner and STILL TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Sting

James Craig: I don’t think now is the time to take the strap off of Sting; he needs to hold onto it for just a little bit longer. That being said, I think that this is going to be a very fun match to watch. I have a feeling that AJ is going to be near prime form and have a very strong showing. I think there may be some baseball bat antics and a win via nefarious means when it looks like AJ is going to win.

Winner: Sting

Owain J. Brimfield: Man, how great is it to see AJ challenging for the world title again? And for all that everyone complained about his run as a goofy heel, for me that’ll just make it more satisfying when he does bring home the gold. That won’t happen here though, and I think Joe will be the one to eventually prise the gold away from the MEM so some time next year we can get an awesome AJ/Joe feud.

Winner: Sting

Jarrod Westerfeld: Let’s just imagine for a second what it would be like if TNA still had faith in Styles being the face of their company. Let’s hope to never wake up from that dream and enter into this nightmare.

Winner: Sting

Chris Lansdell: At some point, the title is going to have to change hands from the Main Event Mafia to the other guys (who really need a name for their faction). This is not that time. Having the world title is the moral authority for their standpoint, and losing it this early will completely take the steam out of the entire angle. Styles needs to control most of the match and then lose to a mistake or an underhanded tactic, proving what the MEM have been saying all along. I just wish that they would let Sting front the group, or find some way to get the belt on Angle.

Winner: Sting

Julian Bond: I’m for one am totally geeked about the whole Main Event Mafia set-up. Some may complain that it may be a WCW “Millionaire’s Club vs New Blood” redux, but I think that this already is being done waaaaay better and much cooler. So with that, this main event with Styles vs Sting is a great way to start this faction feud and is finally a good pair-up of the two stemming from their past non-memorable face-offs in the ring. Styles puts up a helluva fight only to lose to the Stinger.

Winner: STILL TNA Champion Sting

Robert S. Leighty Jr: Sting has never held on to the strap for long, but this year is different. He is part of the biggest stable in the company, and when he loses the title it needs to be a turning point in the war. Dropping it only a month after winning it wouldn’t really help anyone. As much as I am looking forward to AJ getting another run at the top, Sting needs to keep the strap for a little while longer.

Winner and STILL TNA Champion: Sting

Jeremy Thomas: As happy as I am to see AJ Styles’s shot at the title, this isn’t a match for him to win. This is going to be one of those matches where he takes Sting to the limit, loses through the dirty tactics of the Main Event Mafia and gains even more credibility then he’s already built up in the process. No matter how it turns out, this is another quality main event match from TNA that will help lift the PPV.

WINNER: Sting (MEM-erference; STILL TNA World Heavyweight Champion)

411Mania Roundtable Consensus: Sting 9, AJ Styles 1

REVENGE MATCH
“The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe vs. “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash

Michael Weyer: Oh, Joe. You are a master but you’ve got your work cut out making this look good. Expect the usual slowness of Nash with Joe doing his best to sell the offense but expect Joe to end up on top as even TNA can’t want to bury him like this.

WINNER: Samoa Joe

Dan Torkel: This whole ppv has an NWO theme to it as I expect the Mafia to stand tall here through lots of cheating. Joe should NOT lose here. I am thinking one of two scenarios: a) Joe goes nuts and gets DQ’d for injuring Nash’s knees or b) Joe wins by DQ after a Steiner pipe shot and Joe lives to get revenge another day. We flip the coin and …

Winner: Kevin Nash by DQ after Joe flips out

Andy Clark: With Sting winning in the main event Joe needs to get his redemption here otherwise this is the nWo all over again. While this match may not be a wrestling clinic it has some good history to it so there should be a big fight feel.

Winner: Samoa Joe

James Craig: This isn’t going to be pretty. It isn’t going to be fast paced but, I do have confidence that it will be decent. Hopefully the brawling aspect of the match will help to hide Nash’s many physical limitations and Joe can up the ante by becoming the ruthless monster we remember from years past. If Nash doesn’t tear, dislocate, break something for real or otherwise, this will keep the live crowd into the ppv.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Owain J. Brimfield: The TNA originals need some hope and I think Joe will be the one to gain it tonight. There’s no real reason he should lose to Nash.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Jarrod Westerfeld: I think that because Styles is losing in the main event against Sting, and because Joe is in need of looking strong again, that they may give Nash the reason to chase down Joe for a bit to try and avenge the loss as being nothing more than a fluke.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Chris Lansdell: With the MEM winning the main event, the other guys will get the win here, giving Joe revenge over the guy who cost him his title. With the condition Nash is in I really can’t see this going long, but Nash needs to get the majority of the offence. If Joe dominates and wins Nash will look like the face trying to fight back. If it’s a squash Nash looks weak. Ideally Nash will get frustrated at being unable to pin Joe, lose his temper and lose the match, playing off what he told Joe before.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Julian Bond: This should also be a great match in the MEM feud with Joe looking to destroy Nash from last month. With Nash looking much, MUCH better in the ring than ever before (for his age), it should equal a pretty good match ending possibly with Joe going super psycho-nuts on Nash, thus causing the DQ, and thus playing into a clean winning streak I predict for all of the Mafia this PPV.

Winner: Nash by DQ

Robert S. Leighty Jr:The question is will Nash do what’s right, and do the J-O-B to Joe? I have a glimmer of hope considering he did finally repay the Goldberg job at Spring Stampede. There should be overbooking galore here, and the match could be ok as long as it doesn’t run too long. Since I have Sting winning the Main Event, the young guys need to get one.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Jeremy Thomas: With Sting taking the gold, they have to give the TNA Originals a big win, and this is it. This match was a necessary one to have based on the booking, where Nash screwed Joe; once this is over Joe can move on to bigger and better feuds with the Main Event Mafia. Can Joe carry Nash to a good match? Hard to say, but I guess we’ll find out.

WINNER: Samoa Joe

411Mania Roundtable Consensus: Samoa Joe 8, Kevin Nash 2

TNA LEGENDS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Champion Booker T vs. “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage
If Christian loses, he will have to join the Main Event Mafia.

Michael Weyer: Well, the stip pretty much gives away the result as we all know Russo loves the “Whacky partners who hate each other” bit even a decade later. It’ll be a good match to be sure but Booker will find a way to win to give the MEM some tension.

WINNER: Booker T

Dan Torkel: Sounding like a broken record here, but the Mafia will stand tall here. Booker needs a high profile win to legitimize the title, and Christian can play the Mafia’s reluctant accomplice. Here’s an idea. Christian loses and is upset but promises revenge later. He runs out during the main event and turns on AJ cementing a heel turn. Either way, Cage goes down.

Winner: Booker T

Andy Clark: Booker T just “won” the belt and there is no way they can resist from putting Cage in the MEM against his will. Easy call.

Winner and STILL TNA Legends Champion: Booker T

James Craig: I look forward to this match the most. I don’t think it’ll be the best match in terms of wrestling quality, but I am a huge fan of both of these guys. Cage is golden and Booker is on a roll and has found a character that really seems to gel. I think we’re going to see some interference and Cage goes to the M.E.M.

Winner: Bookah

Owain J. Brimfield: The stipulation is pretty interesting here, as with Steiner now a member of the MEM, adding Christian would pretty much complete the set of guys who gained their reputation outside TNA. It’s an intriguing possibility, and coupled with the fact that Booker shouldn’t lose his own title on his first defence, makes me think that if no shenanigans are pulled that Cage will soon be walking hand in hand with the bad guys.

Winner: Booker T

Jarrod Westerfeld: Would they want to put Cage in a situation where he’s teamed up with a bunch of heels that he’s not interested in aligning with? Maybe, this is TNA after all. I’ll go with the other option though, as if giving him a nothing title is reason enough to keep him around?

Winner: Christian Cage

Chris Lansdell: TNA have painted themselves into a corner here. On the one hand Booker is not going to lose his hard-fought Legends title only 2 weeks after inventing it. On the other, Christian siding with the MEM takes away the best talker outside that faction and leaves the other guys with Joe and AJ to do their talking. With any luck we get WCW Booker here, because the Booker of the last 5 years is just not that good. With Good Booker this could be the sleeper match of the night. In the end, Christian in the MEM is the lesser of two evils.

Winner: Booker T

Julian Bond: Another great pairing and an actual good build-up aside, but still connected, from the MEM feud. Even though I made a goofy prediction last month of a “contract” being the item in Booker’s suitcase (instead it was the Legends title), I’m still going to stick to my gut instincts and predict that Cage will lose to set him up as the “free agent” trapped inside the Mafia against his will.

Winner: STILL TNA LEGENDS CHAMP Booker T

Robert S. Leighty: Booker just created the title and him losing it already would be kind of stupid. What is more intriguing is Cage having to join the MEM against his will. That could be a lot of fun if booked properly. The match should be ok if Booker is motivated. These two had decent matches over the IC Title, and hopefully we get a little more here.

Winner and STILL TNA LEGENDS CHAMPION: Booker T

Jeremy Thomas: There’s no way Russo is taking the belt off Booker, a guy he loves, just to keep a storyline he loves to play out from happening. This has the potential to be a show-stealer and these two will bust their asses against each other to do something special. In the end, the MEM enforcer will come into play and Christian will be screwed into joining the bad guys.

WINNER: Booker T (Steiner-ference)

411Mania Roundtable Consensus: Booker T 9, Christian Cage 1

TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Champions Beer Money, Inc. vs. The Motor City Machineguns

Michael Weyer: TNA has been keeping the MCMG down for way too long, it’s time to finally pull the trigger and let them have the belts. They would do a good job as champs and having faces with the titles will be a good shakeup to the tag division.

WINNERS and NEW TNA World Tag Team Champions: The MCMG

Dan Torkel: I am, like many, happy to see the MCMGs finally elevated to a tag title feud. On the other hand, it is too soon for them to win and Beer Money has been gold as a team so they win it here to hopefully further the feud.

Winner: And still Tag Team Champions: Beer Money Inc.

Andy Clark: I’m really not sure how the Machine Guns got in this position but I’m not complaining. Part of me is convinced the Guns will continue to become glorified jobbers, but Beer Money has held the belts for a while and the Guns could be a nice addition to the MEM-Originals feud.

Winners and NEW TNA World Tag Team Champions: Motor City Machine Guns

James Craig: This match has every reason in the world to be the best on the card. Two teams that are very good tag teams and so on and so on. The problem is, sometimes the Machine Guns are either in the dog house or mailing it in as they seem to go through bouts of being uninspired. I don’t expect that to be the case here and Think the tag titles to change hands here.

Winners AND New Tag Team Champs!: The Motor City Machineguns

Owain J. Brimfield: Oh now I’m torn. Beer Money is greatness, but MCMG are long overdue a title run. I can see them taking it in a rematch, but not here.

Winner: Beer Money Inc.

Jarrod Westerfeld: Now we get the MCMG in the tag title scene when everyone was screaming and crying for them against LAX? Well, whatever the case I’m going with Beer Money to retain just because TNA just started realizing what kind of commodity that team is, so I doubt they’re going to jump start their new push with the tag titles already around their waists.

Winner: Beer Money, Inc.

Chris Lansdell: I am looking forward to this. Impact on Thursday showed me that Beer Money can hang with MCMG in terms of speed, and that the two teams have some great chemistry. I smell not only a title change, enabling Team 3D to join the MEM and go for the belts, but also a very good match.

Winners: Motor City Machine Guns

Julian Bond: Is it just me or is it random as hell that the Machine Guns get a title shot when they (sadly) really haven’t been pushed a damn for a good long time. I’m strongly suspecting that the Guns FINALLY get a win for the straps here, BUT will evenually turn on the TNA young guns and go to the “dark side” of the Main Event Mafia for a search for respect…or something. So I take Team 3D (who also in another random event were cost a title shot by Beer Money this past week) interferring during the match to cost the Beer Money their long-settled (but still deserved) tag straps.

Winner: NEW TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPS The Motor City Machineguns

Robert S. Leighty Jr: This match should be pretty good, and it would be great if they put the straps on the Guns. Beer Money have been great together, but with viable Tag Teams to feud against running thin, I think putting the straps on the Guns to extend the feud would be the best option.

Winner and NEW TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPS: The Motor City Machineguns

Jeremy Thomas: Sorry, dreamers. I’m as thrilled to see Shelley and Sabin finally get a push as anyone, but tonight won’t be their night. They need to be built up more before getting a run with the belts, and I foresee an extended feud here to do just that. In the end, the MCMG’s will thrill and come oh-so-close before Roode and Storm get the win to hold onto the straps.

WINNER: Beer Money (Roode pins Shelley; STILL TNA World Tag Team Champions)

411Mania Roundtable Consensus: Motor City Machineguns 6, Beer Money, Inc. 4

FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE
Abyss vs. Kurt Angle

Michael Weyer: This I’m looking forward to as it promises some great hard-hitting action. Abyss is a great monster and a good seller and should do a fine job with Angle’s offense. I’d like to say Abyss wins but I get the feeling Angle pulls it out with some chicanery en route to the main event scene once more.

WINNER: Kurt Angle

Dan Torkel: Wait, this isn’t a 10 Million Thumb Tack match, or a Last Rites match, or some other dumb Russo gimmick match, holy hell it might be good. These guys have crazy chemistry and I expect a really good match here. Angle always had a knack for carrying big men to great matches, Kane on Raw in 2001, Big Show over the years, Taker in 2006, and Abyss since he entered TNA. I expect Matt Morgan to stay somewhat involved here leading to tag match later on between the Monsters and the Mafia. I am curious as to whether or not Jarrett interferes, but I think, as I have said before that the Mafia rules the night.

Winner: Kurt Angle

Andy Clark: After all his years in TNA, after winning the title, after changing his gimmick, after all the main events, and after all the stuff he’s put his body through, Abyss is STILL a jobber to the stars.

Winner: Kurt Angle

James Craig: Ok, I’m not excited for this match at all. This will be an alright match, and Angle actually can hold his own in this brawling style that the match is sure to take on, but since we’re going to see Joe and Nash in much the same style match, this may end up being the bloodier of the two in order to keep the crowd interested. Abyss will bleed. Angle will bleed. In the end, Angle gets the clean win.

Winner: Angle

Owain J. Brimfield: These two do have some pretty good chemistry, don’t they? I say Angle pounds on Abyss to setup a more promising encounter with Matt Morgan down the line.

Winner: Kurt Angle

Jarrod Westerfeld: Isn’t Angle feuding with Jarrett? So why would I buy him losing to Abyss here?

Winner: Kurt Angle

Chris Lansdell: Let me get this straight: a heel (Angle) is pissed that a face (Jarrett) cheated to beat him and wants revenge. The face is not interested and throws obstacles in the path of the heel, who vows to kick all their asses until the face gets in the ring with him. What is wrong with this picture? Anyway, this match serves two purposes: one, to give Abyss a way to take another sick bump (remember that news report that said he was going to tone down his style when he returned?) and two, to give half the IWC the opportunity to call Kurt Angle a fucking idiot for almost killing himself while the other half chants “HOLY SHIT!”. Is it really worth it, Kurt? Anyway, there will be interference, and it will cause a heel win.

Winner: Kurt Angle

Julian Bond: I believe that this was thrown together just to get Angle on the card and with that, we continues the streak of winning for the MEM for this PPV.

Winner: Kurt Angle

Robert S. Leighty Jr: This is just step 1 of Angle working his way through whatever Jarrett puts in front of him before getting his rematch. These 2 have good chemistry and Angle is more than capable of meshing his style with Abyss.

Winner: Kurt Angle

Jeremy Thomas: It’s sad, because I love Abyss, but there’s as much chance of him winning as I have of getting invited to run in on this match and help him do so. Kurt wins in convincing fashion and will move on to Morgan as the next part of Jarrett’s gauntlet. And yes, Kurt’s still a moron for putting his permanently-weakened body into a hardcore-style match.

WINNER: Kurt Angle (Angle Slam)

411Mania Roundtable Consensus: Kurt Angle 10, Abyss 0

GRUDGE MATCH
Rhino vs. X-Division Champion Sheik Abdul Bashir

Michael Weyer: Assuming it’s non-title and a bit short to build a grudge up. Expect some big action stuff as they’re a bit rough together but could make it watchable with Rhino hitting a big gore for a win.

WINNER: Rhino

Dan Torkel: Weird pairing here. Why not hold off the Bashir/Lethal match till here, and have Rhino join AJ and Joe’s group. Rhino has the edge in power but Bashir is tricky. I don’t think they will lower the X-Division Champion on the same card they are having a big seeding match for that title.

Winner: Sheik Abdul Bashir

Andy Clark: Take what I said about Abyss, take out the “all the stuff he’s done to his body” part, double it, and you have Rhino.

Winner: Sheik Abdul Bashir

James Craig: Annnnnnd we have yet another brawl/grudge/vengeance style match. I’m not interested. Rhyno shouldn’t lose this.

Winner:Rhyno

Owain J. Brimfield: Having this be a title match is a great idea as it’s one of the freshest X Division matches in ages. Creed will probably still be the one to take the strap from Bashir though.

Winner: Sheik Abdul Bashir

Jarrod Westerfeld: Does anyone care who wins here? I certainly don’t.

Winner: Sheik Abdul Bashir

Chris Lansdell: I am a huge fan of Bashir’s mic work since coming to TNA. However, I am not a huge fan of Rhyno’s attitude in this feud. You can read why here. Either way, the booking of Bashir continues to mock Vince and company for bungling a white-hot angle that makes you question why you’re booing the guy. This is what they should have done with Hassan. Bashir can afford a loss here, and unless Rhyno is on his way out that’s what will happen.

Winner: Rhyno

Julian Bond: …interesting pair-up or a desperate attempt to fill up PPV space? Either way, this should be a standard bout that further pushes Bashir as a force to be reckoned with.

Winner: Sheik Abdul Bashir

Robert S. Leighty Jr: This just seems to be there. I would rather see Bashir defend the title against an actual X division guy, but whatever. Rhino is basically treading water since all the other former WWE talents took his spot. Bashir getting a solid win over a non-traditional X-Division wrestler would help him.

Winner: Sheik Abdul Bashir

Jeremy Thomas: Rhino needs the win more, and it doesn’t exactly hurt Bashir to lose. By the same token, Bashir would get hugely over by taking out the War Machine, and I think they’re more interested in getting Bashir over then stopping Rhino’s downward slide. Whether it will be pretty or not is anyone’s guess and depends on which Rhino shows up, the motivated one or the non-motivated.

WINNER: Sheik Abdul Bashir (W.M.D.)

411Mania Roundtable Consensus: Sheik Abdul Bashir 7, Rhino 3

X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP SEEDING MATCH
Participants: Sonjay Dutt, Eric Young, Jay Lethal, Consequences Creed, Petey Williams, Jimmy Rave, Homicide, Doug Williams, Tanahashi and Volador

Michael Weyer: Hard to call without knowing who’s in it but they still seem to be pushing Creed up so I expect him to be the big winner with Dutt right behind him.

WINNER: Consequences Creed

Dan Torkel: Let’s see, there will be Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, the PJB, Jimmy Rave, Consequences Creed, Volador, Tanahashi, Suicide (maybe). I think Lethal and Creed will step back and allow another contender to face Bashir. Someone Bashir recently bitched out…someone who has held major titles in a foreign nation…someone like…

Winner: Tanahashi

Andy Clark: The match should be fun but they will only probably stick to one, maybe two, of these title shots. Let’s see how this will break down.

Winner: “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal (2- Sonjay Dutt, 3- Eric Young, 4- Petey Williams, 5- Curry Man, 6- Jimmy Rave)

James Craig: hopefully this will open the show and be every bit the spot fest I expect. Most of the guys in here have had their shot at the X Division title and that’s a merry-go-round I think some fans are getting tired of. With LAX out of the Tag scene for the moment, I say Homicide gets the nod just to put a fresh face (singles wise) in the hunt.

Winner: Homicide

Owain J. Brimfield: Say what you will about multi-men clusterfucks, but TNA does them pretty well, and with the added greatness of Doug Williams and Tanahashi’s hair, this should be a treat. Hard to call a winner, but ol’ EY needs something to go with his new serious persona.

Winner: Eric Young

Jarrod Westerfeld: I haven’t a clue how this breaks down. Is this like an elimination match with points added to your stance based upon when you were eliminated or is it really just a winner takes all? I mean, from the sounds of it I’d expect this to actually be like a real elimination style match-up where every participant gets some sort of points for their participation. At the end of it, I could see Petey, in his new role getting the push but in all honesty it probably should go to Lethal after that horrible disappointment of an X-Division title match at Las Vegas that resulted in him looking inferior to Bashir.

Winner: Jay Lethal

Chris Lansdell: Oh THERE’S the high-energy non-stop impossible-to-type-up opener that will have us all out of breath. Wait, DOUG WILLIAMS? OMG he DOES have a job! This is going to be one 8-minute spotfest of win, and at the end of it we’ll all be amped up for the rest of the card. Anybody could win, but the logical choice is…

Winner: Suicide. I mean Eric Young.

Julian Bond: No offense to the X Divison I love and worship, I really hope that someone different other the usual suspects (Lethal, Williams, Creed) gets the number one seed here just to shake things up. I’m guessing and hoping that someone like Homicide or Volador takes it here. I’ll take a stab and say Volador.

Winner: Volador

Robert S. Leighty Jr: We need new blood to challenge for the X-Title. I have always been a Homicide fan, and we might as well see what he can do in the X-Division.

Winner: Homicide

Jeremy Thomas: This one is really hard to call. There’s a lot of possibilities around these guys; Eric Young’s got a new attitude, Homicide’s a definite possibility, Jay Lethal deserves a bone tossed to him, Petey’s an ex-champion. In the end they need someone to feud with Bashir, and Creed is still the best choice for that.

WINNER: Consequences Creed

411Mania Roundtable Consensus: Eric Young 2, Jay Lethal 2, Homicide 2, Consequences Creed 2, Tanahashi 1, Volador 1

KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM MATCH
Awesome Kong and Riesha Saeed vs. Roxxi and Taylor Wilde

Michael Weyer: Now this should be a fun matchup, nice to see Saeed back in the ring. All four are capable of great matches so it should be a good tag affair and I see Roxxi managing to get the pin to set her up against Kong in a one-on-one in the future.

WINNERS: Roxxi and Taylor

Andy Clark: Man, I really, really, really could care less about the Knockout’s division. Let’s say Roxxi gets the win to set up a title match with Kong.

Winners: Roxxi & Taylor Wilde

James Craig: I have been a fan of the Knock outs division from the beginning but as of late it seems to be getting stale. I think having the title on Kong is the way to go for the time being and I think Roxxie will get a near fall here while Wilde gets “hurt” and moved back down the card. Kong and Saeed will go over.

Winner: Kong and Saeed

Owain J. Brimfield: Kong rules all; Roxxi gets the pin on Saeed to further her credentials for the belt.

Winner: Roxxi and Taylor Wilde

Jarrod Westerfeld: What’s the point? We already got way too big a taste of this on the last Impact as Wilde teamed up with Khan to take on the terror-some duo, and they lost. If anything, Kong and Saeed need to win this bout just because of the fact that they had to work on Thursday against Wilde and a random partner for some unknown reason. Odds are, however, that Saeed will eat the pin here just to establish, once again, that Kong has her weaknesses, unfortunately.

Winner: Roxxi and Taylor Wilde

Chris Lansdell: This may yet end up as 3 on 3 with the addition of ODB and Rhaka Khan. Either way it has potential, and if they can continue to develop a character in the ring for Taylor Wilde it might be worth the space on pay per view. The only sensible result is to have Roxxi pin Kong and get us a fresh title feud.

Winners: Roxxi and Taylor

Julian Bond: The Knockouts Division has been kind of slow burning as of late, so I hope that Roxxi and Wilde win to possibly set-up another feud between Roxxi and Kong for the title.

Winner: Roxxi and Wilde

Robert S. Leighty Jr: Saeed should get pinned and catch the wrath of Kong. Roxxi can get the pin to set her up as the next challenger and eventually down the road split Kong and Saeed.

Winner: Roxxi and Wilde

Jeremy Thomas: It’s time for them to put up or shut up with Roxxi. I say she pins Saaed and finally gets her shot at the belt, and hopefully wins. The girl deserves SOMETHING for shaving her head all those months ago.

WINNER: Roxxi & Taylor Wilde (Roxxi pins Saeed)

411Mania Roundtable Consensus: Roxxi & Taylor Wilde 8, Awesome Kong and Riesha Saeed 1
